Cumru Police Investigating Robbery of Sunoco

The Cumru Township Police Department is investigating a robbery incident that occurred on Wednesday, February 17th 2021 at about 2:45 am. The robbery happened at the Sunoco A-Plus, located at 1547 Lancaster Ave. within Cumru Township.

According to Police, three suspects entered the A-plus and held the attendant at knife point. One suspect stole an undetermined amount of cash. The second suspect stole Newport cigarettes, while the third suspect stayed at the entry door. The attendant was not injured. The three suspects are described as:

Suspect # 1 (armed with knife): possibly Hispanic, 20s, thin build, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall, red or orange brimmed baseball hat, red or orange face mask, olive green hoody, khaki pants, red sneakers, light blue latex gloves.

Suspect # 2 (armed with knife): possibly Hispanic, 30s, average build, approximately 5’9” tall, gray or black winter hat, light blue face mask, navy blue or black hoody with red logo on back right shoulder, black sweatpants (possibly white Nike logo on left thigh).

Suspect # 3 (unknown if armed): possibly Hispanic, 30s, medium build, average height, all black or dark colored clothing, light blue face mask, red or orange brimmed baseball hat, black sneakers with white laces and white soles.

Anyone with information pertaining to this robbery incident or can identify any of the suspects or knows of a suspect vehicle is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Alert Berks County.
