In a social media post Monday evening, Reading Mayor Eddie Moran announced he has partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to bring 1,200 COVID-19 vaccine shots to the City of Reading.
According to Mayor Moran, everyone 65 years old or more is qualified. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Those interested are asked to call the mayors office at (610) 655-6234 from the hours of 8am to 4pm to register.
Full name, phone number, and date of birth is needed to register.
Once registered, Mayor Moran says a representative from the Department of Aging will contact those approved later in the week to assign a date, time, and location for vaccination.
Registration closes on Thursday, 3/18/21.
